Job Description
We have private and public employers in the country currently seeking to hire committed and experienced Carpenters to join various teams in the country.
Successful candidate will handle the movement and transporting of materials to the work site, effective reading and interpretation of blueprint, drawings, and specifications as well as the effective installation, troubleshooting and repair of various wooden structures and fixtures.
Applicant are expected to have previous experience working as a carpenter, capable of thriving under pressure, have good organization and management skills and able to multi-task effectively in the discharge of their daily duties
What you’ll be doing in the position
- Movement and transporting of materials to the work site
- Effective reading and interpretation of blueprint, drawings, and specifications
- Effective installation and repair of various wooden structures and fixtures
- Take proper care of carpentry tools and machine
- Accurately estimate and measure required materials
- Removal of debris and other hazardous materials from the work site
- Perform all other tasks as may be required
