Job Description
We have private and public employers in the country currently seeking to hire committed and experienced Cashiers to join various teams in the country.
Successful candidate will handle the friendly and positive welcoming of customers to the store, receive and process customers payment through cash/credit cards for goods, as well as the creation of an enabling environment for customers by replenishing stocks on the shelves
Applicant are expected to have previous experience working as a Cashier, a strong and keen eye to details, basic cash handling skills, exceptional customer skills, good physical fitness and able to multi-task effectively in the discharge of their daily duties
What you’ll be doing in the position
- Friendly and positive greeting and welcoming of customers to the store
- Receiving and processing of customers payments for goods
- Issue invoice to customers for successful purchases
- Creating an enabling environment for customers
- Timely replenishing of stocks on the display shelves
- Assist in the packing and bagging of customers order
- Perform all other tasks as may be required
